ICBC's main website, ICBC.com, has been re-designed to better reflect the characteristics of our Corporate brand which includes the goal of being customer focused. The site has been reorganized and rewritten based on our customer’s feedback and extensive research.  The content and navigation are organized by tasks which improve our customer’s ability to find what they need.

We have retained the information our customers have identified as most relevant while reducing the content by more than 50%.

Enhancements to the site

• The navigation menu, currently located on the left margin, has moved to a row of tabs located near the top of the page.
• The home page includes links and summaries of popular tasks that were identified from extensive customer research.
• The Find a Location feature is conveniently located on every page.
• The reduction in text increases the customer’s ability to access and scan for information.

Sections modified or relocated

• The Buying & Selling a Car section is now located under the Vehicle Registration section.
• The Road Safety section has been rewritten and includes some items previously found under Auto Crime & Fraud.
• ICBC news items, company information, the Fairness Commission and privacy inquiries can be found under About ICBC. This was previously located under Inside ICBC.
• A couple of online services links remain on the Home page but the majority of them can be found under the appropriate sections.
• Information found under the Geared 2 Youth section has been relocated to the Driver Licensing and Road Safety sections.
• The Careers section is more prominent to attract high-performing and capable candidates.
• The Business Partners link is now located at the top right-hand side of the Home page.

What you will continue to see

• Information about Autoplan Insurance, Driver Licensing and Claims remain under these headings.
• All the conveniences of the previous site, such as booking a road test, reporting a claim and accessing vehicle information, are still available on the new site.
• The FAQ’s, Glossary, Contact Us and Search function are still available with some enhancements.

Update your links

Those who have identified pages as a favourite or bookmark may need to change these links for the new site.  However, for a few months, old bookmarks will be redirected to the equivalent page on the new site (if one exists).

There will be a few instances where no redirects will be available.  The information may no longer exist on the site or it may be found in a different location.  If you are unable to locate something, remember to use the Search engine to help you.
