Submission of Purchased Course Curriculum

Some schools that have previously obtained ICBC course approval may choose to sell the usage rights of their curriculum to other driver training schools.

As ICBC curriculum standards change with time, curriculum previously approved by ICBC may not meet current guidelines.

All submitted GLP course curriculum for new applicants will be individually reviewed by ICBC using current standard guidelines; therefore, purchasing previously approved course curriculum from other driver training schools will not ensure curriculum approval.

Renewing an ICBC Approved Course

Course approval expires annually, coinciding with the expiry date of the driver training school licence. The school licence renewal package includes the course approval renewal package for schools delivering an approved course.
