ICBC's Driver
Training & Assessment Standards is responsible for administering
all driver training programs within British Columbia. This includes
the Licensing of Driver Training Instructors, Air Brake Instructors,
and Driver Training Schools, approval of driver training curricula,
Commercial Vehicle Driver Certification, Motorcycle Skills Assessment
Driver Certification and Instructor Training Facility Certification
Programs.
Driving School Inspections,
another facet of Driver Training & Assessment Standards is responsible
for monitoring and ensuring compliance within the driver training
industry of British Columbia and to provide guidance and information
to help and educate the driver training industry in the conduct
of driver education to British Columbians.
